Athlete's foot

I have a “lovely” case of athlete’s foot, on my right foot between my 4th and 5th toe, that itches, burns, and drives me mad every time I take my work boots off. Can anyone give me suggestions on what I could use or what I could do to cure the athlete’s foot and what I can do in the meantime to stop the itching?

It never bothers me until I take my boots off at night.

I heard soaking them in bleach and water but I was to scared to try it!

There are multiple home remedies that you can try to address the itching induced by your athlete’s foot. Some of the most common include vinegar soaks and dilute clorox soaks. Other people find vicks vapor rub and epsom salts effective in treating athlete’s foot. You might also want to make use of herbal remedies such as tea tree oil and garlic. If If herbal/natural remedies aren’t an option for you, you can make use of over the counter anti-fungal treatments like ZeroFungus. Also, do not forget to practice good foot hygiene – avoid wearing the same socks two days in a row, wear comfortable shoes, dry your feet well before wearing socks, use a separate towel for your feet and your body, etc.
