I make on time donations, you can set it up to do monthly or just when you want to. I also like to go to my local shelter Edinburg pound and give them things they need donated, they always have a list, I even spend time with the animals because to me that is the biggest thing you can do. They need to know people and strangers, Find a local shelter and step in and see what you can do. Also looks good on a resume. And you are doing a wonderful thing. People will say how can I have the heart to go in there and play with the animals and then leave. I say how can you have the heart not to and just forget about them, out of site out of mind.

ASPCA is where I’d send my money…LONG before I’d send it to HSUS (Humane Society of the US)…You can get on line and make a one time donation…I don’t know if the one on TV is a monthly thing, or not.

Usually you have the option to make a one-time payment or regular payments. Just be prepared, because if you make that one payment, they will hound you for the rest of your life to keep making donations.

We have the SPCA here, which I made a one-time donation to in the past, and they’ve been after me ever since to donate again.
