because under 18 years old still dont know what they’re actually doin..and parents do know whats good for them..so they dont actually get along..we’ve all been there..and if you’re over 18 years then you’ll understand them better..

I’m 13 and get along with my parents most of the time. we argue a lot though about little things. does my f*cking head in lol

Answer #5

I don’t get a long at all with my parents. they used to spent a lot of time doing outside activity on their own since I was a kid. now I’m 16, and apparently they’re just realize that they have a child to take care of. but everything just went wrong, they treat me like I was somekind of baby or what. well I’m not that little kid anymore who need a 24/7 attention, I’m a teenage who already need to have my own space. so it’s kinda hard right now. but I’m just trying to avoid all the craziness and arguing each other by joining a lot of out of school time activity, and I think it help a lot.

Answer #6

Yep

Basically both my parents just dont care for each other anymore. Plus, one if Christian and the other is atheist and comes from a Chinese folk religion kinda family. So sometimes (actually, everytime) the argument spills over, tensions rise and one of them (usually my mum) vents her anger on me

Furthermore, there seems to be this thing about my mum. Like she thinks her life is really bad and so she has to complain about just about everything that happens to her. Even things like seeing an ant on the coffee table

hey, im 19, still live with my parents and absolutely hate it! since as long as I can remember, both my parents are alcoholics, as every year goes on, they get worse and worse, their health is deteriating and they have lost so much weight. I have 2 wee brothers, 1 is 13 who is on the child protection plan and the otheris 18, he is totally going off the rails. I have 2 older sisters and they just dont seem to care what is going on. I have now been unemployed since september (through no fault of my own), have no money, cant afford to move out and dont know what to do. im finding it impossible to get a job and I need to get 1 with school hours so that I am home again to ensure the safety of my youngest brother when he comes in from school. if any one has any advise it would be greatly appreciated as all the social workers over the years have done nothing! I have had to get the police involved a few times cause my dad is extremely violent when he is drinking but nothing has ever came of it. sorry if I have bored you all but I am at my wits end and have been for a long time now cause I dont know what to do. things had got really bad for me in my final year of school with my exams, I was stressing so much cause I couldnt get time to revise, mum and dad didnt help the whole situation either. I tried to put an end to it but failed and ended up in hospital for a week. I realised after that that I was stupid because there would be no-one there to look after my brothers and got a hold off myself but I always have a fear that it will get out of control again. please please help
