Hi Carol,

I had to work today which was hard and a little sad, because my Mom only lives 40 minutes north of my work and I was sooo close but couldn’t go visit! BUT to make up for it, I sent her some really pretty flowers from a website that are really spectacular. She loves flowers so I know it will make her smile.

My Mom passed away in 1985 but if she were here ‘I’d hug her and squeeze her and love her’. That comes from a cartoon from many years ago.

I am a Mom, though and one of my sons made me a Mothers day card and is making my favorite cake (white cake w/cream cheese icing, ummm).

My daughter and grand-daughter called me to wish me a Happy Mothers Day. They live a few hund miles away.
