Are we re-born after we die?

Im sopposed to be catholic but the idea of being re-born as a baby makes more sense to me than anything else. Even more sense than there being nothing. Which is weird as im normally very realistic and logical. It makes sense to me in a way that nothing else does. I mean, babies cant remember anything from when they are born till when they are around 9 months old. Why not? I think having past lives makes sense too. Whats your opinion?

Answer #1

Hopefully, I sure want to live again!

Answer #2

I believe the Bible’s account of what happens when we die.

Answer #3

I don’t think we will be re-born, but I do believe that the world as we know it is gonna end and as some put it God is going to do a major renovation if the place and those who made it to heaven are going to return to the earth to live for eternity. I really need to get back into the scripture again to make sure I get all that understanding fully understood. But I don’t believe that we will be reborn.

Answer #4

reincarnation makes sense but then again we say that because want that to happen, but it could happen, but it couldn’t. we’ll never know until you die but really its too late then.

Answer #5

When the bible speaks of being born again, it is meaning that a person opened their heart to believe and receive Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. When a person comes to the realization that they have sinned, and are in need of salvation, and they cry out to God, he comes into their spirit, to live, by the power of his spirit. And all of a sudden, everything changes, and takes on new perspective. The bible says that all things are made new. The believers life is changed, in an instant. He/she begins to see things in a new light, they begin their walk with the Lord, and begin to learn of him, his ways and his word. It is a glorious time.

Answer #6

security94 you sound brilliant. lol. you keep your race. where did we get mixed races. well hmm I don’t know maybe cause we as humans did that. life after death as reincarnation I dont believe. but for those who do, please think about what your saying. study it or something. me even as non-believer in reincarnation thinks about it logically. I believe in God and Jesus. but some things are just illogical.

Answer #7

gud question, I love it. the reality and truth beyond facts and opinion, because they are both temporal and subject to debate, I that when we die we instantly go to heaven or hell both depending on whether you got born again or not, according to Romans 10:9-10, and John 3 where the LORD was talkin to Nichodimus, so the concept of being reborn was a humanistic philosophical idea derived from the fallen state of man from Adam, because mankind still wanted to explain or have an understandin of eternal realities and spiritual truth.

Answer #8

My best explanation of what happens is: “When you die, it is the same feeling as before you were born. So does that mean you can’t remember it?”

Answer #9

Personally yep I believe in Life after Death. Someone could die as human and comeback a cat! Cool!!

Answer #10

Thats a big theory..your spirit gets to choose who you become in the next lifetime beforehand supposivley. So say you were famous this lifetime in the next you might choose to be a drunk your whole life. I personally dont beleive this theory. There is a religion that beleives you become an animal after you die wich is kinda a neat idea but then again I dont beleive in that one either. Maybe when you arent ready to go to heaven but you are damned to hell you get reborn? I dunno

Answer #11

Rebirth is a Buddhist doctrine…but as a Catholic myself, I have often thought about the many phenomena’s of past lives etc. I don’t think rebirth is an automatic right though , do you?

Answer #12

honnestly with me, im a catholic and I do believe in life after death. I honestly think that god either recreates you as an animal or a nother human (different sex. like if your born a boy and you die, I think god recreates you as a girl, but I do think you keep your race). I also believe that when you die and come back to life, you reconize your family and all.

Answer #13

No, well I believe that if we exist here, we must have chosen to exist here before we came. I dont think anyone has been forced to live and that even though we might not be aware of it now for many reasons we chose to live the life we have now. Like here you are so in control of everything in your life, you make choices and decisions everyday so why would it be different in the afterlife?

Basically I think you die, your soul leaves your body and you can choose to become another physical being or remain a spiritual one.
