Not sure if this is right, but as far as I know APA stands for American Psychology Association. Maybe its the American Psychology Association site…

I am sure Suzaan is correct, but I think you will find that it is: . APA Cite (as opposed to APA Site) as in the sense of “citation”. It is a set of standards governing good practice in formatting an essay or similar “paper” (e.g. dissertation; thesis; etc..) . The main points are: . (a) use standard “Letter” sized paper ( 8½ in. x 11 in.), with 1.0 in. margins on all sides; . (b) Use Times New Roman font at size = 12 pt.; . (c) Use double line-spacing; . (d) Include a “page header” on every page, comprising the TITLE OF THE PAPER at the top left, and page number at top right. The first page header (only) should include the two words: Running head: before the actual TITLE printed in upper case; . (e) The paper should have four main parts: …… (i) Title Page; ….. (ii) Abstract; ….. (iii) Main Body; ……(iv) References; . (f) The TITLE PAGE should include the Title of your paper in “title case” ( i.e. each word in having first letter in upper case, and subsequent letters in lower case ) - this title should be centred (laterally) in the upper half of the Title Page. The Title should ideally be no more than 12 words long, containing neither any abbreviations nor any redundant words. On a new line, after that Paper Title should be the Author’s Name, centred, in the format: Forename Middle Initial(s) Surname - neither using Mr. / Ms. / Dr. etc. before the name nor suffixes e.g M.Sc.; Ph.D. etc. after the name. On a new line, after your name should be the name of the Institution, centred and in title case, that the Paper has been prepared for e.g. Liege University; . (g) Page 2 should be the Abstract Page. It should include the Page header as previously described (without the term “Running head:” - that only appears on the Title Page / Page 1. Following that the word “Abstract” should be centred but without any other formatting (no emboldening; underlining; or quotation marks etc.). The abstract should be a single paragraph, left justified, up to 250 words long , double spaced and not indented. Guidelines suggest that it should include: “… your research topic, research questions, participants, methods, results, data analysis, and conclusions. You may also include possible implications of your research and future work you see connected with your findings. …”, After that paragraph you may also include a centred list of keywords preceded by the word “Keywords:” in italics; . (h) The Main Body of the Paper should begin on page 3. It should have a header as described for page 2, followed by the Title of the Paper in “title case”, without formatting except for being centred across the page. The Main Body should comprise multiple paragraphs, with each paragraph starting with an indented line. . (i) Begin a new page after the end of the main body. It should start with a header (as described for page 2), followed with the word “References” laterally centred across the page. That should be followed by a list of references to other published material which have been used in your Paper. Each reference should begin on a new line, commencing with the author(s) of the reference material specified with Surname(s) first followed by their respective Initial(s); then the publication date in brackets followed by the title of their article / paper / scholarly work, then followed (where relevant) by the Title of the Journal (or similar) in which it was published with the latter formatted in italics, and followed by the page numbers on which the cited article appears in the Journal. Each reference in the list of references is likely to span two or more lines, all lines forming each reference, barring the first line, should use a “hanging indent” to after the first in this format: .
