Er, the whole “depressed goth” thing is really just a stereotype. I’ve met more people who are depressed and not goth than people who are depressed and goth.

though I also like other music, my fav band being Cradle of Filth(Dooms Metal) & my fav. song(Unbalanced Kisses) being from a Japanese artiest.

It does sound superficial, hence why I didn’t say “liking the exact same bands.”

I do, it makes finding it in stores easier, and helps me to find people who have similar interests.
