Does it annoy you when people eat from their knife instead of their fork?

Funny - my father used to do that whenever my mother would forget to put a fork on the table, lol….but, in general, yes, I find it rather silly, tbf.

yes, bad manners in general annoy me. I am especially annoyed by the following (join in if you relate =) Smacking Sneezing without covering your mouth Chewing gum like a cow Chomping on ice slurping a straw scraping your plate people who get drunk at a party and think their stupid stories are funny while they tell them all night long until they (thank god) pass out Burping and belching really loud.. and then saying excuse me, Huh? Constant Gulping Snorting your mucus loud enough for the next table (my table) to hear your ass! People who are rude to service staff for no damn reason People who take my waitress away for every stupid request instead of asking for these items all at once Yelling at your kids in public (just take the animals back to the zoo!) Parents who talk about other children at gymnastics, how rude! Line cutters (I almost lost it on this one the other night at Target) New Yorkers and northerners who come to Florida and complain…go back home! Corporate America

Ahhh the list goes on…what annoys you?

Love it! Haha well all of that list really and more! People staring, loud kids on the back of buses, farting at the dinner table (or any table or any place/time!!) and more!

For me people who yawn without putting their hands in front of their mouths is a big problem. I also chomp ice and slurp my straw.

it doesn’t annoy me, it just worries me :S like, what if they’re tongue gets cut or something.

My husband does the sneezing thing…it drives me insane! I am such a clean freak, that when he does this, I have to b&*tch at him, no doubt. When I was growing up, if we did something like the above, my dad would just have to give us the “eye”. Never said a word, we just knew.

No…it doesn’t annoy me…I just think it is pointless.

I’ve never actually seen this done? I mean maybe while cutting a piece of cheese and taking it off the knife but I’ve never actually seen a knife being used in place of a fork. And little things tend not to annoy me. Except when driving. People who cannot multitask should not be given licenses.

I used to do that all the time!… until i cut my toungue.

im thinking you count your troubles not your blessing……get some sleep and you might not be irked by others actions so badly….

ps cant yell at your kids, cant not yell at them, everyones got an opinion.

i hate when people stare and cut other people off while there trying to talk and sneezing a thousand times in a row while ur trying to watch tv or listen to something or talk to them i know they cant help it but its so annoying my dad sneezes a thousand times as for the knife thing i never eat off nknive but if i was using the knife to spread somthing like icing or mustard then i will lick it

I’ve never had to yell at my girl…..just the eye. It runs in the family LOL

My eldest is nine, hes a very good boy but hes familiar with the eye….but ive had to roast him too…thems the brakes.

Was that aimed at me? It doesnt annoy me, I was just wondering because I did it the other day and thought that cant be good etiguette so just thought id ask lol.

It annoys me not only because it can be dangerous but it’s just poor table manners. Usually the knife is in the left hand which means they raise their elbow really high and wide off the table to get it in their mouth, so if your sitting next to them you just keep getting bumped. Also, When I’m eating my food I do not want to see someone licking a bit of lasgne off their knife. Put it on your fork like a normal person.

My dad does that and really freaks me out plus it’s just plain gross. If you are going to eat something use a FORK not a KNIFE!
