Angry At Me For No Reason!!

So I told my mom that my friend brought the book twilight and that I wanted it too. Then she starts yelling at me, saying that I’m being a follower, and that I had the book first(I lost it).Now me, I get angry easily, expespecially(sp?) when she yells at me. I choose to just walk away. She always takes things out of hand and yells. And my mom is not a person of reason.

Answer #1

tell your friend to quit being a spastic moron

Answer #2

woah your mom really over reacted.

Answer #3

well when shes not angry say to her that you just want the book because your intrested in it shouting never sorts anything!!

Answer #4

my mom yells at me for no reason too , but I know its just probably stress or something bothering her and she is just taking out on you , in this situation all you have to do is stand still let her finish her yelling and then just walk away , she will quickly feel guilty and will come back to try making you forget that she yelled at you , now this only works if you keep your mouth closed throughout her yelling and you have to stand there and listen to all of it , if you are an angry person try distracting yourself with something while she yells at you so you dont burst too , this works with my mom so good luck , and remember she really doesnt mean what tells you at moments of anger.

good luck sweety , peace :D

Answer #5

well if she said your a follower, maybe shes getting worried that your going to give into peer pressure? I dont know why she would think that over a book, but maybe. maybe she was a follower when she was a kid and gave into peer pressure. thats one of the only logical explanations.

Parents can be a little random at times, because after all they are people, odds are that this stuff has nothing to do with you. You can try reasoning with her… I feel like you are yelling at me (yes even if it is obvious she’s yelling, this is just less accusatory), and just ask her what brought it about… perhaps you being the more rational person will make her realise how ridiculous she’s being…
