Having your feelings undermined is frustrating and being told to count letters would annoy the socks off almost everyone. Most people have very little ability to deal with their own anger, and even less ability to deal with someone elses. Althought the person mistakenly thinks they are trying to help, they really just want you to shut up and stop being angry because they are afraid of your anger. Sometimes an angry person just needs you to know that you are invading their boundaries, not listening, or not meeting their needs. Sometimes anger is like a sheild. If you can get through the sheild, by ALLOWING the person be angry, the person will start to laugh and or cry! :-)

something that might be good to do when your angry is to stay away from people because that way you won’t hurt anybodies feelings trust me I should know because not that long ago I started to get mad at my friends and everybody (because I was sick) and plus it kinda mixed in with my short temper and stubborness and I ended up hurting my best friends feelings then after I told myself that wouldv’e never have happened if I would have just stayed away from everybody. I don’t know if I helped any but I hope I have
