Am I whiney?

Ok so I met this kid the other day and he gave me his number right but he had no credit so he asked me to call him but I had no credit either so I msged back saying sorry and all that and I thought he’d get credit buy now but clearly he hasnt and I thought maybe I should msg him and just say heyy have you got credit yet but my guy friend who is the same age as him said it might sound a little bit whiney what do you guys think?

It’s not that it will sound a little whiney, it sounds desperate. Like you should wait for him, if he wants to chill with you and whatever he’ll call. I mean it’s good for you to take action but I’m just saying it doesn’t sound whiney, it sounds desperate.
