How did Adam and Eve communicate with each other if there had not be any human being before them?

The bible (old testament) was written in Hebrew… ….so, I’m guessing that was the first language in the judeo-christian tradition…which also means that it must be the language of “God” as that’s what was spoken to communicate right?

Excellent question. Maybe Jeremy is right, maybe they spoke in Hebrew, but then that means that even after God created Adam and Eve, he took the time to teach them to speak, after taking one of Adam’s Ribs to make Eve while he was in a deep sleep.. Leaves me to wonder about a lot of things including my own born again religion.

What about cave men? They did not speak language? They used gestures and pictures…

This also leaves another question in my mind? How long after Adam and Eve did cave men come to be? where did they come from.?

Well this explains why back then the bible explains it as paradise, Adam had no nagging, why did he eat the apple of knowledge.

Cave men don’t exist in the world of the bible….eg, humans didn’t evolve in a strict, literal biblical interpretation of the world. So, if you are a ‘literalist’ you ignore cavemen, wall paintings by primitives, etc, as a large global conspiracy.

He ate the apple Chris, because even back then Men were very Physical. He saw Eve’s cleavage and had to choice but to eat the apple because she said so and he wanted to get close to her..lol

God wouldn’t need to “teach” them…he made man after his own image. That could easily include some knowledge…selective knowledge, of course, else Adam wouldn’t have eaten the apple.

Jeremy’s guess is, indeed, the traditional answer. You may remember the Bible’s story about how multiple languages came into existence because of the tower of Babel.

Yes I remember this, I wish this would happen to a few people I know. I would love not to understand them, then I would not have to listen to them. Is this wrong to think this way.

They didn’t communicate. Eve ate the apple before asking Adam and Adam saw a naked woman giving him and apple and that was it for them. lol.

It’s not a real story. Even for the Bible, this is a parable, a way of explaining our relationship with God. Not literally, but figuratively. If you believe all of the Bible as reality, then we’d still be slaughtering goats and throwing blood all over the place. The New Testament replaces all the Old Testament rules. Unfortunately, the Bible does not give us a lot of tools to understand many of the early parts of it. Times were different then. Don’t over analyze. The past will never be totally clear to use, nor the future. Use Jesus’ teachings to keep us on the good path in the present. Be here now.

This is a good question because it’s going to happen again in the next age after this one.

God guided Adam to name all the things he saw on earth and while he was doing that, God was teaching him a language so that God could use to reveal knowledge in his heart, mind and soul. The problem was that God formed his flesh with corrupt DNA so after Eve was formed from his flesh, they began to worship their own ideas instead of the commandments of God.

This eventually corrupted the language, too. Our languages today are totally corrupted for God to use so that’s why he had the Hebrews and Christians carry the scriptures from one prophet to the next so they could have a better vocabulary for him to use when he begin his work with them.

Christians carried the scriptures to me so God could use it to reveal his knowledge with and interpret the prophesies that are being fulfilled now. There’s only certain key words that God needed to inspire with his knowledge and the scriptures were the place they were at.

The answer is they communicated with GOD himself before they eat from the tree of knowledge of good/evil which then separated him from them. According to Genesis, God used to walk through the garden with them and have a personal relationship/friendship with them. IF anyone could teach someone to communicate I would think it would be GOD!
