A baby who wont sleep

Hi there My son is coming 6months he hasnt slept a full night since he was born. I breast feed for 4months and then weaned him onto formula milk. I give him baby rice in the morning and bottles throughout the day but he will not sleep. he will go to bed at 8.30 sleep until 12 then look for a bottle he may drink aroung 7oz. Then he will sleep maybe for 2-3 hrs and wake every hr therein. Has anyone any suggestions on how to make him sleep, I have tried bathing him everything???

my doctor told me that when the baby sleeps more than an hour during the day..wake him up and if he goes back sleep its okay as long as you wake him up if he sleeps more than an hour during the day

My son was the same way, Why not try giving him baby cerial in his milk at night before bed give him a bottle with both them in it. You will have to poke a bigger hole in bottle nipple but that did work for my son. Good luck!

as long as he doesn’t get fuzzy and makes up for the short sleep during nightime by taking lots of naps during daytime I think its ok. but taking him to the pedia hurt, and you’ll get the all the advice you need. there are just some babies like that, they need less sleep than the others.
