Why do 3 year olds talk so much?

wow! talks in his sleep! haha. My seven yr old talks a lot too. As well as my 20 mth old. my head spins because of it. i think I may change my name from mommy to something else just to get a break! haha. jk. Definitely can’t blame them.

Because they finally know how! :) They wanna know everything there is to know and use to to their advantage :) Soon, if not already, they will want to assert their Independence whenever they can :)

oh he is a bit independent. i caught him the other day making himself a bologna sandwich! Unfortunately, I may have to admit he gets the jabber gene from his mama. It’s so nice to hear what’s on his mind. But boy every detail every second is crazy!

I think it’s also because they want to have a conversation like everyone els does. My little sister is three and she will just talk for the heck of it. It’s mostly repeating things that she has already heard or questions. yesturday she was telling all of us about how her friend from school was getiing married to Justin Beaver. lol

I also never understood that. My baby brother will be turning 3 in April and he cant stop talking. All he says is “French fry ketchup” as if we are in mcdonalds. Then he wont stop talking. he just says things that arent words afterward like “oohhyaaaa or moejjoeit” then i feel like smacking him all the way to bed.

little brothers are annoying in general! mine is 14. My older son states all the time his brother is annoying. I really just think it’s for attention, learning, exploring and making a statement! A 3 yr old may need to find his place! Mine is the middle child at this point. He just jabbers away talking about his imaginary friend cece and how he is a dinosaur. and what notx.

oh and watch out. they are smarter than you think. Mine knows how to get under his older brothers skin. And he knows how to protect AND sneak!

It’s because at that age they are VERY curious
