26 Years waiting

Thanks for your advice. I was planning on waiting until after the holidays if I didn’t hear from him before. I know it’s been bad timing on my part this time. I just hope we can get this right before were to old to enjoy each other. Should I call and cancel the Christmas eve dinner I asked him to I can leave a message on his voice mail at work without talking to him or just wait and see if he calls. After the holidays when I make contact with him he said he use to love it when I’d leave him ice cream everyday after work. Should I leave him something like that just to say “still here wanted to say hello”. The guys here at work says if he didn’t want to talk to me at all he’d just tell me he’s seeing someone and leave it at that. They feel like because he keeps allowing these incounters if he was serious about this girl he’s been “kind of seeing” as he put it he would have put a stop to it when I first contacted him month ago. By sending him candy and a card to which he called me in an half hours time after receiving and came and met me that very night. That he wouldn’t have been kissing me in the car that night and telling me that I was driving him crazy if he didn’t have some sort of feelings for me. But friends for right now is enough for me. I think we need to be friends first again to start a good solid base to this realtionship. I just don’t want to push him away.

No dont do anything further, you will come on to strong and seem desperate. You have done your bit, you took him cookies and made out with him, now its up to him to call you. He is confused about you and this other girl, you need to give him the right amount of space to work out who he wants to be with and if you come on to strong you may push him away and right into the other girls arms. Give him space.
