What can I tell my 16 year old cousin who just told me my aunt and uncle are getting a divorce?

Tell her that everything happens for a reason. They have decided to split up for a good cause and things will be better this way. There will be less arguments and they will learn to cooperate with eachother better being apart. Plus, she’ll get the bonus of having two seperate parents (two houses, two rooms, two sets of pocket money etc)

First, you need to tell hen the if two adults can not “fit” each other again, it is better to have a divorce rather than having an argument everyday. Divorce is not a bad choice.
