What should I do with my fridge?

Okay I don’t know how to post questions on here anymore.. :( But my fridge stopped cooling. Its a GE Side by side and the places you can take it to in this area won’t fix it. They said they don’t work with GE appliances! Anyone have any ideas how to fix it or what?

Is the fridge actually working? If not, tip the fridge on it’s back and fill the fridge with ice and place cans, beers inside so you have a massive esky for entertaining guests. (That’s what we do during summer when we have house parties).

Ours has this problem…have you checked the freezer part. When ours messes up the cool part is warm and the freezer part feels like the fridge. What happens to ours is the freezer gets to cold and ice build up on the back wall and stops it from freezing or keeping the fridge part. If you see ice you need to unplug the fridge and chip away the ice or let it met and then plug it back in.

Hey, maybe!! When it first started going out it was the freezer first! The freezer was like a fridge and then they both just stopped working! Maybe i’ll plug it back in and try it out again!! Thanks… hope it works!

That is an interesting idea! but I really don’t do any entertaining… someday I hope to though.
