How does Xbox Live monthly pay work?

Is it like I only have a time period (ex. from November to December) or is it like in one month there is (ex. 50 hrs) So I can play for 50 hours of total game time.

If you pay for one month then you have unlimited amount of hours to play for that month, it will just end once the month is over.

if you have a PS3…unlimited hours ;)

If you do like a yearly plan you can pay the full year at once or do a recurring subscription, which if you use a debit/credit card the charge will go to your card each month. But I suggest the yearly plan because it’s cheaper to do.
