What could be causing this pain, shortness of breath, and dizziness? (read more)

For about a month now I’ve been hurting in my ribs, Or atleast I thought, I went and got x-rays done too see if there was still damage from a forwheeler wreck i’d been in about 5 months ago, They didn’t see anything wrong with my ribs. But, My whole left side mainly up towards my ribs is swollen, It hurts non-stop, If I walk I can’t breathe good, I get dizzy, I get sick at my stomach and the pain gets worse.

You could go to WebMD.com and type the symptoms in but honestly you should see your doctor about it. He/she is more reliable

Answer #2

I’ve went over 4 times, They keep saying they don’t see anything but all they’ve done is x-rays.

Answer #3

Sounds like you need to try a different doctor.

Answer #5

Answer #6

Go to the hospital it sounds like a big problem to me & take some pills to help the pain go away.

Answer #7

If it was an injury that occurred a few months back, you’ll start to feel pain in that area. Which I’ve been told, but for the stomach feeling, like if you walk is it like shortness of breath? Plus I’ve done some searching to help you out… check it out here: http://funadvice.com/r/166n2imndfp

Answer #8

Possibly kidney/gall bladder issues or costocondrosis? Look into it and compare symptoms and get in touch with your doctor. Try some ibuprofin and drink lots of water! Good luck!

Answer #9

Sometimes you have to keep pushing to find your answers. I know it’s frustrating - believe me, I know … it took 3 years for doctors to diagnose my illness - but you just have to keep going back until they find out what’s wrong. Based on your symptoms, there is obviously something wrong, so just keep going back … as many times as you need to.

Answer #10

Get evaluated asap by your Dr …..

Answer #11

That’s what I was thinking, too, though I also agree with Colleen that for a reliable diagnosis, you need to keep leaning on your doctors. Ask them if they think your rib(s) might be bruised, and what you can do about it.
