Is it wrong to lose my sex drive?

Ok, so I work during the day and take care of my 3 and 4 yr. old boys at night until my husband comes home. He has the boys during the day and is quite often able to take naps when they do. When I come home, I have to give them lunch and dinner and try to stay awake after being awake since between 4 and 6 o’clock in the morning and when he comes home, he expects to want to fool around. And quite often, after a night of tantrums and fighting over toys, etc., I just don’t want him to touch me. Is that wrong? What should I do?

I understand why you would feel the way you do, try reading the book “the missing dimension in sex”, by herbert W. armstrong. The first part of the book can seem redundent at points, but the overall message is great and may help change your outlook, and your sex drive.

Dear wearysoul79, k, I’m totally confused…your husband has them during the day but you are home to give them lunch and supper? You stay up till he comes home? You say you have the boys all night…they should be in bed and sleeping sound for at least 8 hours. Do you not sleep then? Sue…good luck

I think that you should defintely remember the reasons why you liked to have sex with your husband in the first place, find the spark in the relationship, take a day from EVERYTHING.. a day off work, a day from the kids, and take your husband with you, and I am sure you will rekendle that flame, I tihnk the only problem is that you are not making time for him.. :] goodluck.

It’s completely normal when you are stressed and under pressure to have no energy left for stuff like that, but you ARE married and in order for a marriage to work, there has to be a physical connection. Maybe you guys could set aside some time once a week or month when you take the kids to a sitter and you two can have your intimate time together! It’s going to be hard to try to find time for yourselves, but you have to make your relationship a priority just as much as your family or careers! Good luck!
