Will this be put forth as the predominate reason ?

Of all the reasons put forth for not electing Obama (character, values, judgement, experience, voting record, etc) - Do you think the predominate reason given if defeated, will be race ?

Answer #1

Your’re excused jimahl - no, replying to the entry above it, ttops.

Answer #2

So what does Jefferson have to do with the republican in CA that was arrested for voter fraud that trisarahtops was talking about?

Answer #3

Excuse me amblessed? Were you trying to bring up something rellevant? What does Jefferson have to do with ACORN?

Answer #4

Didn’t a republican just get arrested?

Answer #5

“I’ve said a million times, if Obama makes it to presidency, he will most likely be assasinated. “

I disagree. George W. Bush is one of the most hated men in the world right now, and there have been no attempts on his life. Presidential security is ridiculously tight, more so than even in Reagan’s day. I don’t think it’s likely that Obama will be killed.

Answer #7

I agree with Religion is Good. This kid in one of my classes said that Obama was going to get assassinated.

I said “If ANYONE were to be assassinated I think it’d be George W. Bush.”

And yes I think if Obama were to not be elected, which won’t happen. That it’d most likely be because of his race.

I agree with Captain assassin also!

Answer #8

Considering his wide margin in the poles (and assuming they hold up for another week and a half), race would really be the only explanation if he loses. If the margin were not so wide, that wouldn’t be true.

Answer #9

I’ve yet to hear any definite reasons (character, values, judgement, experience, voting record, etc) as to why he SHOULDN’T be elected. And no, I don’t think America as a whole, is still THAT racist.

Answer #10

If Obama is defeated, I think an even bigger reason might be electoral fraud.

Answer #11

Yes, if he doesn’t win it’s going to cause an uproar from people because of his skin color. I hate to say it, but it will.

I also think that race has a huge part in this election. I’m not saying it’s right, but it will have an impact on who people vote for.

Answer #12

Phrannie, who is generating that hype? The ACORN investigations are bogus, and are being carried out for purlely political reasons.

The republicans have already shown they are willing to have the justice department investigate ACORN with no evidence to prove any wrong doing. An accusation during an election season is all some people need to hear to make a decision.

Look up David Inglesias.

Answer #13

Race has always played a huge role in this election. Think about how old the United States is and just 400 years ago slavery was practiced and to this day in some places racism is alive and kicking especially down south. The good ole boys who run this nation, are not ready to except the fact that black people can be educated, can be upstanding citizens, and can can achieve the Amreican Dream. We still live in a country were the KKK still marches and burns crosses on lawns. Do you really believe this country is ready for a black president, NO WAY! I am an Obama supporter, but I have my doubts on how safe that is for him to be president. I think it would be extremely dangerous for him and his family, because there are people who still cannot except black people, let alone a black president. So yes I do belive race plays a huge part in this election

Answer #14

If Obama is defeated, I think an even bigger reason might be electoral fraud.

Did I miss something in the last two days?? I thought it was ACORN who was being investigated for voting fraud…that may be the reason he might win.

Answer #15

phrannie,

My apologies, I’m the one who apparently missed something. I was unaware Obama’s name has even come up in the ACORN investigations, except as part of campaign propaganda.

I was also under the impression Obama was ahead in the polls, in some by double-digits. Clearly, I haven’t seen the latest numbers indicating McCain is ahead, and that the Democrats will have to resort to fraud to catch him.

Answer #16

I think if Obama gets defeated, it shouldn’t be on race. It’ll most likely be because of his judgement, character, his lack of experience, ect are going to be the main reasons why he might be defeated. I’m not voting for him not because of race which that shouldnt’ have anything to do with why people are supporting him, but, because of his political views on all the issues or his way of religious beliefs. I don’t think Race should be an issue. It’s also his honesty that will probably get him defeated. Obama, Straighten up!

Answer #17

You mean the inditced Jefferson, whose freezer was infamously found to contain $90,000 in alleged bribe money charges, money laundering and misuse of his congressional office for business dealings ?

Answer #18

Uh…just saying that voter fraud and the Republicans haven’t been an issue in the hype…vice vesa, in fact…propaganda or not.

p

Answer #19

I believe if he loses- the “excuse” will be because of race. the “reality” will be because of his political beliefs, and his past. I am not voting for him because of his political stance on most of the issues important to me.

Answer #20

I’ve said a million times, if Obama makes it to presidency, he will most likely be assasinated.
