Why wont she forgive me?

I asked one of my best friends out after she told me that she liked me. She is 2 years younger than me and when my friends found out they spread a rumour that I was going out with her. I cant talk to her because everytime I see her I feel sick or like crying. I have basically begged her to forgive me but she wont. She promised not to tell anybody that I asked her out but she broke that promise. Will she ever forgive me and if not why wont she???

I’m soo sorry got yourself accidentally into a sticky situation. Firstly its not your fault that your friends made the rumours which im guessing is why she got angry. Her breaking her promise was inexcusable but you should cut her some slack since she was probably pretty emotional when she let the news slip. She will eventually forgive you when she’s had time to calm down and think about everything in an unbiased way. You should keep trying to talk to her but back off if she’s still too angry to really listen to you. If she doesn’t then its her loss, she seems to be over reacting to something that was out of your control. You seem very nice being so concerned but don’t go too out of your way to apoligize until she’s ready to really listen. Good luck x
