Why wont my Sims 2 Seasons install?

There are two disks used when you install the game.

I put the first one in and its fine but when I put the second disk in it stops at 68% and says: “A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file ‘TSData\Res\Sound\Country.package’ from the media”

What does that meen and is there a different way I can install the game or something so that It will work? Oh and my computer is preety old.

1st off try cleaning the disks…

2nd:: I dont know if itll work but it should… im 85% confident it will ;)

copy all files from both disks on2 your hdd and run the autorun from disk 1 from there

when asked to enter disk 2 just double click the setup.exe from disk 2…

I cant be 100% sure it will work, sorry…

or you can download EA downloader, copy your serial into the activation screen and your copy of sims 2 will become available through that:

as you can see from this screen shot: http://ea-download-manager.software.informer.com/screenshot/77053/

it will 100% work and allow you to use ea downloader to play your game…

oh yees im the pimp daddy… did you find this answer helpful ‘Yes’ wont go amiss lmao
