why wont my mom listen to me?

I THINK YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING TO HER ATTENTION AND WHEN SHE SCREAMS AT YOU JUST SHUT HER AND TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL AND THAT IF THATS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET HER ATTENTION THAT YOU WILL DO IT MAYBE THATLL WAKE HER UP

yah and im a teenager and all she says is that she and my dad are trying to be hard on me and they dont give me sum space, and I do talk to my mom sum times but when ever I talk to her all she does is get mad at me again for no reason.

My mum is the same, unfortunately I cant help you there. Just confront her, ‘Look mum, Im not deaf ok, can I talk to you abou something?’ She MIGHT listen…but…from my experience, nothing works , sorry:) x

my mom does the same thing to me and shes really mean but dont do anything stupid like I did all I did was take the screaming and yelling and blamed it on myself and started cutting, but stand up for your self and if you feel pissed or sad sbout her talk to a school counseler or a olser sibling or family member

yell back, make a stand and get her attention. just dont do anything stupid or completely disrespecful. and if this doesnt work, try the opposite. sit her down one day when she is calm and talk to her politely about any problems youre having. dont freak out at all even if she does, maintain your cool and be civilized.

Tell her you really just want to talk to her when both of you have free time and she is in a good mood. Explain how you feel and whatever else you want to tell her.

Then one day when she is not fighting whit you come up to her and tell her all that dump it all on her because she needs to know your side of things, that way she dosen’t just make disitions whit out proof… Also she might think that she is always right I mean they have it in all the talkshows where thay say that teens are always traying to be right and she is jut trying to ignore you… But tell her how you feel and all…
