Why? What are you trying to tell me?

This is a rather silly analogy. I know a painter exists because I have experience and knowledge that tells me how a painter creates a painting. I have seen it done, and I have seen the end result. When you can show me imperically how god created the universe, than I will consider your analogy. There is no evidence of a creator. Existence is not evidence of a creator. Complexity is not evidence of a creator. And even if they were considered actual evidence, they say nothing about the nature of that creator. How do you know there is a god that is all knowing, watching over us, and providing a place for us to go after we die. Just because the the universe exists and is complex? How do you make that leap?

You believe god is real, you do not KNOW it. That is why it is called faith, and not knowledge.

There is, in fact, evidence of the existance of the supernatural realm, jimahl. The proof: you know that a painter exists simply because of the evidence of his/her painting… do you not? Likewise, we can know that GOD exists because we have evidence all over the world, we need not look any further than ourselves. In order for GOD to be real, the supernatural must exist because, without it the natural could not exist. I know that Jesus is real because the air is real; you don’t see it, but you know it’s there because you can breathe. And I know that Jesus is real because he made you and me and everything else.

explain to mikeh that the supernatural realm does exist:

You BELIEVE it exists. It is nothing more than that. You have absolutely no evidence of its existance.

You were almost certainly dreaming, and behavior like thinking every random, unusual, or coincidental act that occurs in your proximity is a message from the other side is not healthy behavior. This is what religious fanatics and psychotics engage in. You would do very well to stop looking at things from a supernatural perspective.

I’d like to do two things A) dispell the notion that ghosts can appear: ghosts can not be seen in the earthly realm in which we live B) explain to mikeh that the supernatural realm does exist: some people like to take it to a whole nothre level and end up being paranoid, true; however it does exist. the danger is in believing that it isn’t.

thats cool and creepy. well maybe its not them unless you were close to them. maybe its someone that lived in the house before?

Well, there can be multiple answers to that. 1) If you were very close to them, and if they went to Heaven (believed in Jesus) it is slightly possible that they came down to visit. 2) You were having an illusion or just dreaming, without knowing. 3) The white image you saw was your guardian angel. :)

There is no such thing as ghosts. It was your imagination getting the better of you. You were probably dreaming.
