Why are Democrats voting to refund the war?
Why do the Democrats keep voting ‘for’ re-funding the war if they truely support ‘bring the troops home now’ (‘against’ would cut the money off and end it now) right ?
I think it would be a pretty drastic move and that might not show much for the country with other countries. I do believe that some of the dems would like to see the campaign in Iraq come to an immediate stop. This lowering of the current funding rather than cutting the funding seems to be a bit of a compromise for all of the interests amongst the representatives, senators, and the executive branch. Whatever ends up happening in either direction I doubt it will improve the world any more or make us much safer, though. I just hope that the troops are not going to have to sacrifice themselves anymore to a war with people that are entering Iraq to do battle with the Americans.
