I just dont know why my husbands family have to be so backward just because he chose to marry me rather than have them fin a suitable girl!!!they wont give me the same respect that they give to my husbands brothers wife!just because they chose her how sad and pathetic is that?

There is some jealousy going on here and a rejection of their insanity. Don't let them get you down. If they're trying to make you miserable, its because they're miserable themselves. They have to live with themselves, you don't. Its easier said than done, but it is doable. If anything, maybe find some pity in your heart for them - for having to live with their miserable selves. And don't let them engage you in negativity.

His family feels he chose you over them. Of course they're not happy about it. Who cares? That's their problem, just deal with them when you have to, and pretend they dont exist the rest of the time...
awww thank but like someone sed above its so easily sed but so hard to do!!! im just trying my best to ignore the obvious favoritism.I mean whatever she does is ryt and watever I do is wrong!!!even when we do the same thing they manage to praise her yet put me down at the same time!
