Why should I save my virginity for someone special?

For a while now,I’ve been hearing different things about being a virgin, and then losing it.I hear, the first time having intercourse,it hurts a lot,but then again,I hear that you should save your virginity, and lose it to someone special. I personally don’t understand that at all. Yes,I am a virgin, and also a girl and I wouldn’t know, but then again, what do you think? Is it necessary to lose it to someone special, despite that it may hurt, physically? Do they really mean when they say, “Practice Makes Perfect?” I am still not sure, but I really would like to hear an opinion. Is there a certain age, which is common to lose one’s virginty?Once again, out of curiosity.

You should wait until you have someone really special, possibly hopefully a fiance at least. I regret not waiting, I honestly do. Once you lose it you can’t get it back and you’ll be lying there wondering “what the hell did I do that for” and “that was it” I think I speak for every girl there.

I think you should save it for someone special or if you REALLY want it from your boyfriend or something… not with just some random guy. i dont think you should wait until your 21 to have sex, you can do it anytime you want ONLY if your smart about it and use protection and make sure the guy isn’t trying to rape you or sumthing.

Uh, yes. If you’re going to have premarital sex, the least you could do is save it for someone who’s remotely special. Since you seem to be naive, I would specifically recommend that you wait until you’re older. Much, much older. Try twenty-one.

Practice does make perfect… sometimes. What some people don’t realize is that they can use the same person - preferably Mr. or Mrs. Right - to practice on. It’s also recommended if you want a lower risk of STDs.
