Why is there so much religion?

jmarien you just proved my point. thanks for trying to convince me that your god ultimately rules my life. and if we were created just to love him, why not just keep us in heaven to worship him? why send us to a world of war, hunger, and inequality?

God made everything. God made you. He is all around and he always will be. He is the reason we are all here. We are his children. We were created to love him because he loves us so much. Lord I pray that everyone could just feel your amazing love… Amen…

Religion is a glorified word for ‘war’ - as its all it ever causes!!!

There IS too much religion. Evangelicals blathering on and trying to force their beliefs on others. But few people realise that the other side (atheists) are often guilty (not all) of this as well, condemning religious people for being “ignorant,” “stupid,” etc

I consider ALL monotheistic faiths to be like that… but most of them don’t…

In the religion section, I pretty much expect a bunch of Jesus blathering, but it’s annoying to see it everywhere else too.

The thing is, evangelicals spam the internet with Jesus nonsense every chance they get…it’s just like zombies always trying to create more zombies. There’s no reason for it, it’s just what the virus makes them do.

That has to do with insecurity, deception, and/or a relative lack of knowledge… its a common problem. The Bible tells Christians to spread the word, but the majority of them just can’t seem to do it the proper way…

well some of it is opinoin like all of us. However I have seen on this site forcing down necks too.

You don’t KNOW that, you just believe it to be true. God REQUIRES you to have FAITH, which is belief without knowing. Learn the difference…
