Why is the world falling to bits?

Mudslides, Earthquakes, Tsunami’s, serve weather conditions… this world is really f*cking up

Answer #1

Yeah, it also says He will come “like a thief in the night”. So 2012 is complete rubbish. We’ll never see it coming.

Answer #2

God said it would in the Bible we’re getting closer to the end times and NO I dont mean 2012

Answer #3

But it seems at the moment things are happening in clusters, in my lifetime I never remember such a cluster of events in the last few months. its jsut the natural disasters are happening very closely together

Answer #4

Oh, and during the 1883 explosion of Krakatoa, the shockwave from the blast was recorded. It reverberated around the planet 7 times.

Answer #5

Homeostasis in our world, m’dear. Homeostasis. =]

Answer #6

The tectonic plates are constantly moving. They move the same distance as your fingernails grow in a year. This causes friction between neighbouring plates hence the earthquakes. Quakes often cause tsunamis if they occur in oceans or seas, and sometimes a tsunami can happen if there is unusual magnetic activity from the moon. These things happen all the time, we just have more news coverage of it these days. As for the severe weather conditions, some people blame our waste gases for this climate change/global warming.

Answer #7

In your lifetime? You’re 16 years old. What lifetime are you drawing your experience from? As far as I can recall, the recent disasters are par for the course. Before Haiti and Chile, there was Katrina and Rita. Before that, there was Andrew and Iniki.

You’re only drawing special significance to recent events because you’re forcing significance upon them, but it’s always been this way.

Answer #8

most of those things are nomal, and would normally happen even if humans didnt exist but obviously when people are in he wrong place at the wrong time, and lots of them get killed these natural disaters are going to be a problem but you cant stop natural diasters

Answer #9

Well the answer to your question may never be 110% know/accurate. Everyone has different opinions. Mother Nature is Mother Nature and it is very hard to prevent her from doing whatever she feels like doing. We just have to learn to live with what goes on in this world…why? Well because life isn’t perfect nor fair, but you have to learn to live it to the fullest.

Answer #10

The world has always been this messed up, the only difference is now the world is more populated so there are more casualties. And it’s true, tectonic plates (kinda like Earth’s puzzle pieces) moving causes the majority of it. We haven’t seen the worst though. At least we didn’t live through the Ice Age. Also, ever heard of Krakatoa? Krakatoa WAS the worlds largest volcano, before it technically erupted, although exploded might be more accurate. Through historical records and scientists’ interpretations, it was the loudest noise ever experienced on Earth. Upon the massive eruption, the pressure underneath the volcano had dropped so much, that the Island caved in and formed the shape of a crescent. It screwed up global weather condition so extremely, that the debris of that explosion alone, carried through the wind, is believed to be the cause of the Ice Age. Today in the center of the Island is a new volcano, constantly growing again to the same size as it’s former self. And again it’s believed it will eventually erupt with a force like that again. Global Warming? Not for long.
