Why is my pregnant hamster bleeding?
Ok so I have a pregnant syrian hamster. She is not old. She has been pregnant for about 3-4 days. She eats and drinks like any pregnant hamster should. She just is bleeding from her…well I guess her vagina. And she is walking fine exept for one of here legs has a small cut on it. Please help…I just am confused
Are the male in the female in the same cage? If, so remove the male and put him in another cage, When female hamsters give birth sometimes the males eat the babies. I don’t know why she’s bleeding or hurt but male and female hamsters get along better when they are or planning to mate. They COULD be fighting. But I DON’T know for sure.
well I also have a hamster and it bleeds too because its pregnant , so I guess it’s normal don’t panic nothings wrong, and your hamster probably got a cut on it’s leg from maybe a woodchip in it’s cage
It will be fine just leave her alon and it will be ok but if you start to see I worsen take her to the vet
