Why is my female dog humping me?

Why is my female dog humping me?

Answer #1

SHE IS BEING DOMINANT WHICH MEANS SHE THINKS SHE IS IN CHARGE, ITS NOT BAD BUT SHE WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU AND THATS HORRIBLE CAUSE YOU WANT TO BE THE BOSS NOT HER.

Answer #2

Mounting is a dominance display, not necessarily sexual and can be exhibited by females but is far more common in males. I suspect she is still quite young?

The best approach is to give her a command such as “sit” or “down” and reward her with attention when she complies.

Enforce the command if she ignores it. You are then asserting your leadership without a direct confrontation.

It is nothing to worry about. It will just take some training and patience.

As phrannie said it’s a show of Dominance. . . . I would not allow this behavior. You should watch the dog whisperer sometimes.

Answer #10

Hey let’s be real here it is not a sign of dominance or a behavior problem. However, it is a sign of Sexual Frustration and should be taken seriously either you should have your pet taken care of or let it have a little fun with a friends pet. Hey men do it all the time and well women too.

Answer #11

like everyone else said, she is showing dominance. I know my dog had the same problem when she was a puppy but she is over it now
