Why is my 13 week old female boxer humping my 8 year old female boxer/pitbull? And how can I stop it?
At this age it is a puppy learning dominance behavior…it isn’t sexual…and your adult female is putting up with it simply because the pup is a baby. She’s testing your adult dog…who will either tire of it, and let her know…or get up and move (ignore her)…another way of letting puppy know she doesn’t like it…Litter mates do this to each other…it’s a way of determining a “chain of command” in their social hierarchy.
