Answer #1

it could be a couple things maybe its a new enviorment or the dog was abused which if thats the case show him love and that you arent going to hurt him

Answer #2

She may have been abused and you must remember that she is only a puppy and she has to still get use to you and her NEW enviroment.Like if you can remember your first day at school you were scared that the teachers would eat you and maybe its something like that with her!!!

what was her previous home like? She may have been abused. She may just be having a little trouble adjusting to her new surroundings. You should totally watch “Its ME or the Dog” check it out on youtube to nix that biting habit.

…and instead of “petting” etc, use your leash for walks (walking together creates a tremendous “bond” between you and a dog). She may have been abused, but she may simply have inherited a timid temperment…that means you must take your time in letting her get to know you (Xmas was only a couple weeks ago).

If she’s less than 4 months old, well…those puppy teeth HURT…they start losing those at 16 weeks. Use a toy to distract her, when she gets mouthy. Say “NO!”…then hand a toy, and say “Here!”…very sweetly. You have to be consitant, that means you must always do this, until she forgets about even wanting to use her teeth when playing with you.
