Why dont scientists just bring up the titanic?

So I’m watching this documentary on it and they’re like “there are so many answers unknown. We have much to discover.” I don’t get why they can’t try to get it above water. Its wired. So why don’t they bring the pieces up?

Answer #1

Respect for the dead.

Answer #2

What Zudano said plus the fact that it would take a ton of cash and a lot of other boats to lift it up and carry it across the sea to land.

Answer #3

I agree with zudano, that is the exact reason whyy. in 2012, it will be 100 years of being in the ocean, it will surely deterriate much quicker if they brought it up, and also it will cost a lot of money, and they would be lucky if they didnt break it trying to bring it up . plus half of the boat is in the sandd. it would be amazing though if they brought it up and it was completley okay.[:

Answer #4

It weighs a LLLOOOTTT and it’s HHHUUUGGGE!

Answer #5

The amount of decay on the Titanic would make it just fall apart into thousands of pieces.
