Why doesnt he want to see me?

I used to be dating this guy and now I moved away…so im coming back up to see him and my friends again but he told one of my friends that he only wants minimal contact with me and maybe doesnt even want to see me! I was so excited to see him and a few days ago he said he was excited to see me too! so why the sudden change of mind? did he always feel this way? im so confused and I really want to see him…is there any way I can convince him to see me again??

It could be, at least from my personal past experience, that he had a “more than friends” feeling about you, but after living so far away he has tried to get over it (heartbreak maybe?).

Now that your going to see him he may not want to dig up old feelings just to have the loss and heartbreak again. Im not really sure how you should go about these things (im not the best with relationship advice), but your best bet is to just try and talk to him cause the above is not always the case.
