Why do my records say I don't have hpv when..?

I have medical records from the pap that supposedly came out with me having HPV. What happened was: They called me 3 weeks later than normal and said I have HPV. Since then I have not had any contact with men. Then come to find out from these records they list my Genitourinary as all being normal. From that pap that was supposedly abnormal. Not to mention I do not see on here any indication I have HPV. They just have the codes like V76.2, V25.02, and V72.31 What happened here? The pap was at a hospital. I was tested 9/9/09. This hospital has been know to mess up. I just got checked again (last week) they said phone call is bad and mail is good. If I do have hpv would they call even if they already know I have it? They said results would be in their office Monday. Still no call.

The human papalo virus is very common. You can have the HPV without having cervical cancer, but it is a virus that causes cervical cancer. im not 100% sure, but if you have the HPV, then I would be getting regular (six monthly or yearly) pap tests, to detect anything in the early stages before its not resectable.

Answer #2

Well I would call them.

Answer #3

Trust me I am going to. I am going to be pissed if they messed up on saying I had it.
