Why do I keep turning red?

When people say things about me or to me my face goes really red. My face goes all tingley and people laugh at me. Even if the teacher talks to me I go red. Its really embarrassing. Why does it happen and is their anything that can be done to stop it?

Answer #1

It could be because you lack confidence and self -esteem. I know when I was younger and had to talk in front of a group of people I would turn bright red. I think it has a lot to do with everyone suddenly focusing on you and all the attention makes you uneasy because you feel unsure about yourself and what people are thinking of you or how they are judging you. It will pass in time when you gain more confidence within yourself. Just remember that you are just as good as anyone else and your feelings and thoughts are just as important as anyone elses.

Answer #2

You should just try and ignore it. You are probably turning red because you feel really embarrassed or you can’t believe that they found out about something. It’s really not something to get mad about because I’m sure everyone has a time in their life where they really feel out of place.
