why do I have extra vaginial skin?

I am in my mid-twenties, have three kids, and am sexual active. I have an extra piece of skin at the vestibular opening, or near the anus, inside my vaginia. having my first child I had an episiotomy, and also had this extra skin removed.Doc said it wasn’t anything to worry about. it has now grown back. it doesn’t hurt, it has very little feeling in it. it kinda looks like a worm or uncircumsized penis.it is very small, barely a half inch. I have looked at diagrams, and checked various sites, and still don’t know what it is or why I have it. can n-e-one help?

your probley just lucky or to much germ x.

Answer #2

your sure it just isn’t a large cleat(sp?)? Nothing wrong with it. Just means it’s larger than usual. It’s too uncomon. A lot of women have It can be caused from females with more testosterones. Ask your doctor, or do some research online. It’s nthing to worry about.

Answer #3

I do have a larger vaginia, larger lips. however, this is protruding from inside and it is not connected to any of the front portion or vaginia (clit,or urethrea, labia)

Answer #4

it could be a bit of skin thats there from the episiotomy maybe something that was cut but not cut out so they left it there? if its coming out of your vagina its not your clit you should go back to the doctor and ask them exactly what the piece of skin is from, why its there and why it wasnt removed the doctor can give you the answers

Answer #5

Answer #6

it has been there as long as I can remember. I wanted to clip it with toenail clippers when I was about 12. thats when I got sexually curious, and noticed this skin. It isn’t from having children. After my first child my Doc cut it when he sewed me up. I had the same Doc for all three births. And we talked about the skin at my 6 week post. check-up. He didn’t know what it was, but said it didn’t bleed much and I never felt when he cut it. I didn’t have an Epidural. After my second child was born 4 years later he noted that it had grown back. He stated that if he cut it, it would probably come back. so if any one has an intelligent answer to my question please feel free to answer.
