I have a lump on my vigina and its a purpuley redy coloure and it herts

Do you shave your pubic hair? If so, it could be an ingrown hair like the other poster said. It could also just be an infected pore from friction and heat. If you are sexual active then it could be some kind of STD.

How long have you had it?

I would give it awhile and if it doesnt go away then see a doctor. But, things like that there usually take longer to heal.

It could just be an ingrown hair.It could be a from of genital warts. It could be Herpes. By the discription you provided it sounds like an ingrown hair or even an inflammed pimple. Apply a warm compress and if it is still there for more than 2 weeks consult a doctor as it may be something worse. IF it already has been more than 2 weeks consult a doctor now.
