Why do I get so many headaches, and migranes? This is important.?

For the past two or three years, I’ve had constant headaches. Everyday, I get one. Maybe, four or five times out of the month, They’ll be so bad, I cant even turn on a light, or look at my tv. I’ve told my mom, and she said: If there was something wrong with me, they would have found it when I go to the doctors and they prick my finger for blood.

I’ve been told, some cancers/tumors wont show up, unless you look for it.

I dont have cancer or a tumor, or im sure something bad would happen to me, besides the constant everyday headaches. I wear glasses, prescribed. With, or Without the glasses, the headaches still come. Some days, my body is really sore. Shoulders, Back, Butt, Legs, etc..

My friends continue to tell me I should see a doctor.. But, my mom and dad insist that nothings wrong.. I dont fully believe them..

Does anybody know what the cause of this is? Or am I just having everyday headaches? By the way, Is there anybody else like this?

Thank you, :)

I check with my eye specialist EVERY year in November, and get a new set of glasses, twice a year. I go to bed around 9 at night. I don’t stay up late at all.

I wouldn’t say a certain smell, lighting, or anything else triggers them. Its been this way for a few years now. I just needed to know whats going on so I can tell my mom theres actually something wrong here. She thinks I exaggerate. I don’t. These headaches hurt, and usually tend to make me a really rude person. I’ve tried looking up on the internet. I dont find anything useful.

I suggest going to a doctor anyways.

My sister and mum used to get a lot of headaches, but that was cause sis needed new glasses as her eyes had changed, and it was straining her to refocus with the old ones, and my mum was stressed out a hell of a lot.

Try to find out if theres anythings that trigger these headache first:- certain smells can cause them, or the amount of lighting in a room, or even by how much sleep you get a night.

But by what info you’ve given me, it sounds like either lack of sleep (which could also explain the sore body parts) or glasses (if you need new glasses, but continue to use the old ones, this could damage you eyes more and lead to headaches. Check with your eye specialist just to be sure.)

If your over 16, try orgainising a doctors appointment by yourself or with a relative or adult - they won’t tell your mum and she’ll never have know. If not, try asking a school nurse to give you a check up.
