Why do I get bad grades?

Only last year, in 8th grade, i was an A+ to B+ student. Now (as a freshmen) my grades are like Cs and Fs. I cant tell my Mom about it. Cuz if I do then she will get depressed. I dont like it when my parents arent proud of me as thier child. Anyway, if anyone has some extremmeely good advise on studying please let me know!

hey, it happens. you just need to study by yourself, and pay attention. get enough sleep. and group studying usually doesnt work, because youll get off track too easly. if you must group study, do so with people who arent your best friends.

Hi,

Your parents are proud of you always. Never forget that. They love you and if what they see on paper is disappointing they should and most likely will support you in finding out why your grades have slipped. Maybe a tutor might help. Ask the teachers for extra help or other special projects to get extra marks to boost the overall mark. Keep you parents “in the loop”. If they know, they can help. You might be embarassed but at least they’ll give you support and encouragement.

what i do is right after school my mom takes me to the library and i stay there and do my homework and then after i go out by the field nearby and practice my discus (as a sort of stress reliever since stress builds up during the day). So maybe you could try going to the library right after school because if you go home you could get destracted very easily with computers,t.v., etc. then after or before (which ever you prefer) you could go for a walk to clear your head or maybe something else. Hope this helped please message me if i did.

group studying is the best- you can always remember things if someone else says it first.
