Why can't I wake up?

I have a very bad sleeping habit. it’s almost impossible to wake me up when im asleep and I miss all my classes and assignments and exams. I really need some sort of help. I always need someone to wake me up etc…I live alone at the moment. I do want to be more independent. this is the only thing in my life that holds me back from success in any field. if some one can solve this one problem for me, I will be a completely new person and be extremely grateful!

I have the same problem. The way I get up is setting the alarm on my phone I turn the volume all the way up. I set it on this really annoying loud song and set it just out if my reach so to turn it off I have get up!

get a really loud alarm clock you could also try thinking to yourelf before you go to bed, tell youself the time your going to bed and then tell yourself the time you want to wake up example think “‘ok its 9.30pm now I want to wake up at 8.30 tomorrow for school”‘ thinking about what time you want to wake up helps you wake up at that time, because your telling your body clock what time you want to be up by I used to and still do this a lot and a lot of the time it works

I know this is old- But if you go to bed earlier it really does help! Not on the very first night obviously, but after a week or two of an early pattern, your body realizes you have changed the sleeping time and you will wake up earlier. You could try an alarm clock. Put it on the other side of the room so you can’t just push snooze- You actually have to GET UP to stop it.

Try drinking more water so that a) you are less dehydrated, and b) if you drink 3ish glasses of water before bed, you will wake up early needing to pee.
