I am 17. I want to move out when I get done with school on feb 26th. my mom has custody of me but I live with my uncle. she says I cant move out till I walk acroos the stage for graduation. but by that time I'll already be 18. and my view is that im 18 and can do what I want. but she says since I havnt walked she can still tell me what to do and when to do it.
Why do you want to move out? - Trust me , you will miss your moms house, rather finish with Graduation and get a degree then move out,
"Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee,"
They usually know what is best for you, you will regret moving out,
my advice foru is 2 wait until your 18 then tell your mum your leaving and if she says well you havent walked across that stage you can tell her that you are a legal adult now and can makeur own choices... hope it helped ;]
just wait till you walk across the stage...what is that may/june ? thats not that long I mean you have made it this far
Once you're 18, she can't stop you from leaving - she can tell you you can't, but that holds no legal value.
Yep it's true. Once your 18 you are free to choose your own destiny. So just wait till then.
Once ya hit the big one eight then mom doesn't have legal custody over you.
Once your 18 you are a legal adult and can do what you want.
