Why am I having the urge to be pregnant?

I know there is a question similar to this out there, however I am not 15, I am 27 and I was married about 9 months ago. I have always told myself that we are not ready for children because we bought a house 2 years ago, have school loans to pay off, and just do not seem financially ready. Also many people have told us to enjoy our marriage for a few years before bringing children into the mix. However in the last 2 weeks I have been “craving” sex and pregnangcy.

I have been looking up different information on the internet regarding fertility planning and becoming pregnant, I almost feel like I am obsested with the idea.

I guess I am curious as to if this feeling is natural? I know women have the natural urge to mother, but is there a right or wrong time? Should my husband spend a few more years enjoying each other?

It might be good to wait and have a little more alone time with your husband. However, you are in a loving and stable relationship and that’s what a child would require at the end of the day.

It may not be the most convenient time to have a baby but there’s nothing wrong with having one now.

And I believe it is quite natural for a woman to want to be a mother. At the age you are especially. I think it’s perfectly fine that you have these urges.

Talk to your hubby about kids and see what his take is before you go planning on your own. It has to be a decision agreed by the both of you otherwise, you may hurt your marriage besides helping.
