Biden won, it was obvious. Palin wouldn’t answer half the questions.

Palin did a much better job.

Palin didn’t embarrass herself and Biden didn’t come off as an attack dog, so it was a bit of a wash. Although a rabid Democrat or Republican will try to play up ‘their’ candidate. Palin did avoid answering questions for the first half by constantly going back to her energy position; (and yes I am a Democrat). The most fun thing of the debate was watching the face of the person NOT talking. Very interesting.

I’m going to say Palin. She stood her ground. I do have to admit that both Biden and Palin were glad to have met. The debate was excellent.

bimjob, it isn’t only partisans who think Biden won. Most independents do too.

The CBS and CNN polls showed that Biden was seen as the winner by a wide margin. Palin really made a lot of headway though. After her horrible interviews people were starting to worry about her, but she did alright in the debate.
