Who is in the wrong here- me or my parents?
My mom got remarried a few years ago. Now our family consists of my mom, stepfather, stepsister, stepbrother, and me. Basically I have to pay for any of my own ‘luxuries’, which includes my cell phone, car insurance, clothing, and entertainment.I am a vegetarian so I have to pay for any special vegetarian foods I want to eat. I have a part time job to pay for these things. My issue is that my stepsiblings don’t have to pay for any of their own stuff. Sometimes they eat my food, and then I am left with nothing to eat because the rest of the family are meat-eaters (and not exactly health conscious). I understand having to pay for stuff like my cell phone, but it just doesn’t seem fair that I’m the only one of the kids that has to do so. I’m still in high school, so I don’t get to work that many hours, and often don’t have very much money. Am I just being selfish, or is this unfair?
Thats unfair Your mum probably doesnt feel she has the right to say anything to her husband…or doesnt want to ‘shit stir’ Try talking to your mum on her own and then ask her to speak to your step fater alone so he doesnt feel hes bein ganged up on…then maybe he can tell his kids they are gonna have to sttart payin for their own stuff..AND STOP EATING YUOUR FOOD hhaha that one would piss me off x
I disagree!! I think you should get treated fairly. its not fair!!! you should tell your mom.. at least explain
Nahh, it’s unfair. ):
its the same with me I have a job and I have to pay for all my clothes and my laptop and everything or if I want to go to the movies with my friends or something but the my stepsister just puts out her hands and her father gives her money but he never gives me any and I agree with ladybug if they take your stuff take theirs thats what I do with my step sister
