Who has pet rats?

A lot of people for some reason seem to think that rats are disgusting - or some just don’t like them because their long tail. Months ago I started with two, and have stopped at 8. I was planning on 6 but there were 2 in need of adoption so I took them in. I have a whole room devoted to my rat family, they have baths and their cages are cleaned daily.

I see nothing gross about rats, anyone else have rats too? Whats their name(s)? Mine are: Dixie, Zara, Hayla, Misty, Kiara, Zoey, Bella, and Bridgette.

omfg they are gross im sooo scare of them hah but thats awesome my ister has only 1 rat haha god I never go in her room because shes in there her names Stella haha I dont y

I had two in college, Stella and Libby, and they were some of the best pets I’ve ever had. They were quite fond of margaritas.

My only complaint with rats as pets is that their life spans are so brief.

I have 5 rats the youngest is 2 days old and the oldest are about 1 and a half years old! I have 3 females, 1 male, and the baby is still unknown. There names are (females) Henry, Gomez, and Burnie (male) Templeton (baby (Henry’s baby!)) is Herman! two of my rats are hairless!
