Who has had a high hormone called prolactin?
Has anyone had a high hormone called prolactin? If so did they find a tumor with it and if you had it did you ever get to get pregnant again? I have high prolactin and they found I had a petuitary tumor the odds of getting preg are slim since this causes you to still produce milk when you produce milk some reason it could be hard to get pregnant…who knows lol but yeah I dont wanna get pregnant now but I wanna in the future and wanna know my odds
When you have high levels of prolactin you have a condition called hyperprolactinemia. I havent had this personally, but I know a bit about it from study. Its very common to get this condition from medication such as anti-depressants as well as from pituitary tumors. While your prolactin levels are elevated you are infertile. However, you can get medications which antagonise prolactin, bringing them down to normal levels and this should restore your fertility.
