Who can help me with my music situation???
Mmmk so I’m starting up a new band and we aren’t so great at writing lyrics or making scores. Can you (the people of funadvice) give me some tips on either situation???
writing lyrics: ok so I write songs too they might not be so great but heres how you can get started: write a list of what you want to be in your song or what you want your song to be about (friendships, dating, breaking up, making up, etc). A song should start out like a poem, so just write your thoughts and feelings, open yourself up and just jot down whatever comes to mind.
when your done jotting down, read it over again and eliminate somethings that are unnessisry. keep crossing out stuff that desn’t fit into the song and song title. soon you’ll have your words, and the tune will natrually flow out.
